    This presentation will provide an overview of HCV and will include discussions on screening, testing, state-of-the-art treatment for HCV-infection, and future directions. In addition, this presentation will include discussions on the testing and management of hepatitis B virus infection.
  • Hepatology for the Nonhepatologist
    Kenneth E. Sherman, MD, PhD

    This presentation will provide the nonhepatologist with the basics on how to manage HCV infection in patients with liver-related complications. This presentation will provide attendees with a basic overview of the liver and will include discussions on assessing fibrosis stage and when to refer to a specialist.

    This presentation will provide a review of the newly updated AASLD/IDSA HCV guidance, including what is new in treatment.
