Current Professional Summary

Dr Adeyemi is Attending Physician in the Section of Infectious Diseases at Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago. In addition to inpatient and outpatient HIV patient care, she is actively involved in teaching medical students, mid-level providers, residents, and Infectious Diseases fellows.

Her clinical research areas include viral hepatitis co-infection, cardiovascular disease in HIV, and HIV in the aging population. She has been the Principal Investigator (PI) for the CORE Center unit of the Chicago AIDS Clinical Trials Unit (a sub-unit of North Western Hospital) since 2001 where she coordinates all the activities of the research unit. She is also the Co-Director of the CORE Center Hepatitis Clinic.
