Current Professional Summary

Dr Burke is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in family medicine at Brown University in 2009 and a fellowship in primary care health policy at Georgetown University in 2010. Dr Burke has previously lobbied for reform on behalf of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and has performed graduate medical education research in Croatia.

Dr Burke is currently a clinical advisor in the Bureau of Primary Health care at HRSA, where his work focuses on clinical quality and practice transformations, in particular meaningful use and the Patient Centered Medical Home. He holds additional policy interests in global health and workforce issues.
