Current Professional Summary

Dr Osborn is an attending physician at Emory University School of Medicine.  She specializes in HIV and viral hepatitis coinfection, and provides clinical care for HIV monoinfected patients and general infectious diseases patients.  She also works with Hemophilia of Georgia to care for patients infected with HIV or HCV via contaminated factor.  In addition to clinical duties, she is completing a Masters of Science in Clinical Research and will be involved in clinical trials for HIV/HCV coinfected patients.  Current research is being carried out in conjunction with the Emory Vaccine Center, examining immune correlates of HCV persistence versus clearance, as well as correlates of interferon alfa response.
