Dr Rodriguez is an attending physician at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital and the 1917 Clinic at UAB. He is also the Medical Director of the General Medicine/Infectious Diseases inpatient ward. He is principal investigator at UAB of the Peru-ICOHRTA training network in HIV and tuberculosis.
