Needs and Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Managing regimen failure
• Describe the current potential for HIV
  eradication
• Describe current data on investigational
  hepatitis C drugs as they impact the potential

• Explain the key clinical issues associated with
  bone complications in HIV disease
• Formulate practical smoking cessation plans
  for HIV-infected patients

Intended Audience

This online CME activity is designed for physicians and other clinical decision makers who are actively involved in the medical care of people with HIV/AIDS, specifically those who:

• Have a solid, working knowledge of HIV disease management
• Provide comprehensive or specialty care for patients with HIV/AIDS
• Are currently active in HIV/AIDS research

This activity is also relevant to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other health professionals who provide care to people with HIV disease.
