Individuals who refuse to disclose financial interests may not participate in an IAS–USA CME activity.\n\nThe ACCME defines a commercial interest as “any entity producing\, marketing\, re-selling\, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by\, or used on\, patients. The ACCME does not consider providers of clinical service directly to patients to be commercial interests – unless the provider of clinical service is owned\, or controlled by\, an ACCME-defined commercial interest.”\nRegistration\nWho Should Attend\nThis course is designed for physicians who are actively involved in the medical care of people with HIV infection and:\n\n Have a solid\, working knowledge of HIV disease management\n Provide comprehensive or specialty care for patients with HIV infection\n Are currently active in HIV research\n\nThis activity is also relevant to nurse practitioners\, registered nurses\, physician assistants\, registered pharmacists\, and other health professionals.\n\nRepresentatives and employees of commercial companies (eg\, pharmaceutical\, diagnostic\, medical products\, advertising\, insurance\, investment\, and communications firms) must contact the IAS–USA regarding registration procedures.\nCancellation Policy\nCancellation requests must be made 8 or more days before the date of an activity.
