Physician Education: Bridging Clinical Research and Patient Care

Management of Hepatitis C Virus in the New Era: Small Molecules Bring Big Changes

These full-day courses focus on hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. Rapid advances in treatment are expected with the introduction of direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) to the HCV treatment paradigm. Studies project a large increase in the number of patients requiring HCV treatment in the near future, and we are entering an exciting new era in HCV care.

These intensive half-day workshops are designed to improve the clinical care of people infected with HCV. These small-group, interactive workshops are limited to no more than 35 clinical decision makers (physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants) and are historically overfilled. Individuals may register for only 1 of the workshops in each city, either Introductory or Advanced.
