REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 2023 Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) CLINICAL CONFERENCE.
Registration for the 2023 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE is now open! The conference will be held in person from Sunday, December 3, to Tuesday, December 5, at the Hilton Portland Downtown in Portland, Oregon. Serving as co-chairs this year are Roger J. Bedimo, MD, MS, of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Texas; Laura W. Cheever, MD, ScM, of the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration in Rockville, Maryland; and Michael S. Saag, MD, of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
This conference will provide state-of-the-art research, care, and treatment updates for experienced clinical decision makers (physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants) who are responsible for the day-to-day medical care and treatment of persons with HIV and those integral to the provision of medical care in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP)–funded sites. A limited number of spots are reserved for registered nurses and pharmacists who are the primary clinical decision makers in their RWHAP-funded clinic or program. Please note up to 3 participants from each clinic will be approved to allow more clinics to participate in the conference.
This conference is funded by the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration and is organized and sponsored for CME by the International Antiviral Society–USA, in coordination with the AETC National Coordinating Resource Center.
Attendance at this conference is limited, and all attendees must be approved. If you apply to attend, please do not book hotel accommodations or make non-refundable travel arrangements before receiving notification that your application has been approved.
This year, there are 2 options for hotel accommodations. Although the conference is being held at the Hilton Portland Downtown, you can also reserve your hotel room at the Duniway Portland, which is across the street. The rate is the same for both hotels.
Approved attendees are responsible for their transportation expenses to and from Portland, OR, hotel stay costs, meals, and all other expenses.
The list of topics that will be covered is available along with a venue description, information about continuing education credits, and details about registration and travel on the IAS-USA website and the AETC National Coordinating Resource Center (NCRC) website and will be updated regularly.
Please note that we remain committed to closely monitoring the evolving state of the pandemic. We will ensure that our vaccination policy and mask guidelines align with the circumstances leading up to the conference.
We look forward to seeing you IN PERSON at the 2023 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE!
Sincerely,
2023 RWHAP CLINICAL CONFERENCE STAFF
