The IAS-USA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to offer CME and other credit for the following activities:
Full-day advanced HIV courses and half-day intensive hepatitis C virus workshops in cities around the United States, feature cutting-edge, scientifically rigorous presentations by leading experts in their fields. The IAS-USA also organizes the annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Clinical Conference.
Experts in the fields of HIV and hepatitis C virus prevention and management present live, interactive webinars, including question-and-answer sessions. Archived webinars are available for CME credit for up to 1 year after the original webinar, and for reference thereafter.
A series of web-based, case-driven CME activities offer convenient online access to top-quality professional education. Basic COWs are for practitioners new to the clinical practice of providing care for patients with viral diseases as well as experienced clinicians seeking to refresh their understanding. Advanced COWs are for physicians who have a working knowledge of viral disease management and currently provide comprehensive or specialty care.
Topics in Antiviral Medicine (formerly Topics in HIV Medicine) is a free, all-access, online journal published by the IAS-USA, as a resource for physicians and other health care practitioners who are actively involved in the care of patients with HIV or other viral infections.
