The Passing of Dr Albert Anderson

We are saddened by the news of Dr Albert Anderson’s passing on July 25, 2023. Apart from his many accomplishments in the field of neurology, he was an important contributor to IAS-USA activities, including authorship on Topics in Antiviral Medicine issues summarizing new data from the annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI). Our field has lost an important researcher and clinician in the fight against HIV, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues during this difficult time.
