Obtaining CME credits, ABIM MOC points, Nursing or Pharmacy credits, or a certificate of participation will require that you complete the online evaluation form and the postactvity assessment for the activity. A link to the evaluation form and the postactivity assessment will be activated in your IAS–USA account under “My Activities,” after the course.

Please submit the evaluation and your continuing education claim form (if applicable) within 30 days after the course. Your certificate will be available in your account on the IAS–USA website immediately after you submit the evaluation and claim form.

Note: If you do not wish to claim continuing education credit, you may directly access the evaluation here. Your feedback is important and it helps us continue to deliver valuable content in our educational programs.

To Begin the Claiming Process

  1. Go to https://www.iasusa.org/ and log in to your IAS-USA account.
  2. Hover over your name and click My Activities.
  3. Find the relevant activity in the table and, in the far-right column, click on the gray sunburst icon (✺).
  4. Complete the evaluation.

For CME Credits and/or ABIM MOC Points

You need an ABIM ID number to earn ABIM MOC points. This is a 6-digit number issued by ABIM. Be sure to include that number and your date of birth on your IAS–USA profile page.

  1. When you get to the end of theevaluation, clickSubmit Form. Click Take the CME/ABIM MOC posttest to start the test. Note: Be sure to indicate if you will be claiming ABIM MOC points, which will require a passing grade of 70%.
  2. FINAL STEP: After completing the posttest, at the top of the Thank You page, click Online CME Claim Form, where, once logged in, you will: a) answer “Yes” to the question “Are you a licensed physician?” b) enter the CME hours you wish to claim, and c) click Submit.

For ABIM MOC points, your points will be posted to your ABIM profile within 30 days after the deadline to claim credits.

For Nursing, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacy Credits, or a Certificate of Participation

  1. When you get to the end of the evaluation, click Submit Form. Click Take the CE posttest to start the test.
  2. FINAL STEP: After completing the posttest, at the top of the Thank You page, click Online CME Claim Form, where, once logged in, you will: a) answer “No” to the question “Are you a licensed physician?” and b) click Submit.

We work with Educational Review Systems to deliver credits to nursing and pharmacy professionals. For nursing credits, your credit notification will be emailed directly from that organization within 30 days after the deadline to claim credits. For pharmacy credits, your credits will be posted to your NABP CPE profile directly from that organization within 30 days after the deadline to claim credits.

Be sure to provide your 6 digit NABP CPE number and your date of birth on your IAS–USA profile. Your claim will not be approved without them.

To Access Your Certificate

Once the claiming process is completed, a certificate will be available for you to print. You can also view your certificate from your IAS–USA account under My Activities. Find the relevant activity in the table and, in the far-right column, click on the green sunburst icon (✺) to print your certificate.
