Conference on Bacteriophages: Biology, Dynamics, and Therapeutics

Not all sessions at the Conference on Bacteriophages offer CME credits, such as those focusing on submitted science (ie, poster and oral abstract sessions). Sessions that do offer credits are workshops, plenaries, symposia, and the opening session, as well as selected lectures preceding oral abstract sessions.

Before You Begin: You will need to login to your IAS-USA account. 

The claiming process can only be completed once. The deadline to claim CME credits or ABIM MOC points is November 14, 2025.

ABIM MOC points are intended for internal medicine physicians in the United States who are maintaining their ABIM certification. After the successful completion of the posttest, your points will be posted to your ABIM profile within 30 days after the deadline to claim credits. and notify you by email when it has done so.

How to Claim Credit

To Begin the Claiming Process

  1. Go to https://www.iasusa.org/ and log in to the same IAS–USA account that you used to register for the Conference on Bacteriophages..
  2. Hover over your name and click My Activities.
  3. Find the Conference on Bacteriophages: Biology, Dynamics, and Therapeutics in the table and, in the far-right column, click on the gray sunburst icon (✺).
  4. Complete the evaluation.

TO CLAIM CME CREDITS AND/OR ABIM MOC POINTS, OR CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

You need an ABIM ID number to earn ABIM MOC points. This is a 6-digit number issued by ABIM. Be sure to include that number and your date of birth on your IAS–USA profile page.

  1. When you reach the end of the evaluation, click Submit Form. Click Take the CME/ABIM MOC posttest to start the test. Note: Be sure to indicate if you will be claiming ABIM MOC points, which will require a passing grade of 70%.
  2. FINAL STEP: After completing the posttest, at the top of the Thank You page, click Online CME Claim Form.

  • Certificate of Participation only: Select “No” when asked if you are a licensed physician.

  • CME credits: Select “Yes” when asked if you are a licensed physician.

  • ABIM MOC points: If also claiming, select “Yes” and provide your ABIM MOC ID number and date of birth.

TO ACCESS YOUR CERTIFICATE

A certificate will be available for you to print as soon as you complete the claiming process. Click on the PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE button located at the top of the activity page to access it.
