Assessment of Needs
The IAS–USA offers this state-of-the-art activity on the evolving challenges of managing HCV disease as part of a nationwide continuing medical education (CME) effort for physicians.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:
- Use current diagnostic techniques to reliably diagnose cirrhosis in patients with chronic liver injury
- Identify the appropriate use of antibiotics in cirrhosis and describe how the gut microbiome may influence the natural history of cirrhosis
- Describe what happens to the liver after successful treatment of hepatitis C or hepatitis B and identify who remains at risk for complications
Who Should Attend
This advanced webinar is designed for clinical decision makers who are actively involved in HCV care and research.
This activity is also relevant for registered nurses, PharmDs, and other health professionals.
