The IAS–USA offers this state-of-the-art activity on the evolving challenges of managing HCV disease as part of a nationwide continuing medical education (CME) effort for physicians.

This webinar will cover current diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.

It will include discussions on:

  • How and when to select current treatments
  • Whom to treat
  • How to monitor patients on therapy for long-term complications

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:

  • Describe how to diagnose phases of HBV infection
  • Identify who is currently a candidate for HBV treatment
  • Describe current HBV treatments
  • Discuss long-term monitoring of patients with chronic HBV infection

This advanced webinar is designed for clinical decision makers who are actively involved in HIV care and research.

This activity is also relevant for registered nurses, PharmDs, and other health professionals.
