This webinar will focus on the latest data on HIV epidemiology and prevention presented at CROI 2019.

The webinar will present updates on patterns of HIV in the United States and globally, including populations most heavily impacted by HIV. New developments in HIV prevention, including preexposure prophylaxis and late-breaking data, will also be presented.

• Identify the 4 strategies for ending the US HIV epidemic
• Explain “undetectable equals untransmittable” (U=U)
• Describe changes in sexually transmitted infection (STI) incidence over time
• Compare the efficacy of TAF/FTC and TDF/FTC for preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
