The IAS–USA offers this state-of-the-art activity on the evolving challenges of managing HCV disease as part of a nationwide continuing medical education (CME) effort for physicians.

This webinar will cover the issues that persist after hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection cure and how practitioners can determine which patients should be monitored after cure. It will also discuss problems associated with fibrosis assessment after cure.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:

• Assess the other common liver-related problems seen in patients who have had HCV infection
• Describe the regression of fibrosis after sustained virologic response
• Delineate potential liver-related health problems after cure of HCV infection
• Describe aspects of liver disease that demand follow-up and management after cure
