CME Credits

The International Antiviral Society–USA (IAS–USA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The IAS–USA designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM MOC Points

ABIM MOCSuccessful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. IAS-USA, the CME activity provider, will submit your participant information (eg, name, date of birth, activity credits earned, ABIM MOC number) to ABIM through the PARS system for the purpose of reporting ABIM MOC credits.

How to Claim CME Credits, ABIM MOC Points, or a Certificate of Participation

Claiming CME credit, ABIM MOC points, or a certificate of participation will require that you complete an online evaluation of the activity. A link to the evaluation form and a posttest were activated in your IAS–USA account under “My Activities.”

Please submit the evaluation and continuing education claim form (if applicable) by November 14, 2025. Your certificate will be available in your account on the IAS–USA website immediately after you submit the evaluation and claim form.

To Begin the Claiming Process

  1. Go to https://www.iasusa.org/ and log in to the same IAS–USA account that you used to register for the Conference on Bacteriophages.
  2. Hover over your name and click My Activities.
  3. Find the Conference on Bacteriophages: Biology, Dynamics, and Therapeutics in the table and, in the far-right column, click on the gray sunburst icon (✺).
  4. Complete the evaluation.

TO CLAIM CME CREDITS AND/OR ABIM MOC POINTS, OR A CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION

You need an ABIM ID number to earn ABIM MOC points. This is a 6-digit number issued by ABIM. Be sure to include that number and your date of birth on your IAS–USA profile page.

  1. When you reach the end of the evaluation, click Submit Form. Click Take the CME/ABIM MOC posttest to start the test. Note: Be sure to indicate if you will be claiming ABIM MOC points, which will require a passing grade of 70%.
  2. FINAL STEP: After completing the posttest, at the top of the Thank You page, click Online CME Claim Form.
  • Certificate of Participation only: Select “No” when asked if you are a licensed physician.
  • CME credits: Select “Yes” when asked if you are a licensed physician.
  • ABIM MOC points: If also claiming, select “Yes” and provide your ABIM MOC ID number and date of birth.

TO ACCESS YOUR CERTIFICATE

A certificate will be available for you to print as soon as you complete the claiming process. Click on the PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE button located at the bottom of the activity page to access it.
