- All abstract presenting authors, coauthors, and others who wish to attend the meeting must register and pay the registration fee.
- For accepted abstract authors, a discounted registration rate is available for a limited time. This discount will automatically be applied during registration.
- Members of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) are eligible for a $100 discount on registration. To claim this discount, simply select the “IDSA and ASM Member Registration” option during the registration process.
- If you hold membership in any other medical associations, such as the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the World Medical Association (WMA), and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS), you qualify for a discount. To claim this discount, simply select the “Eligible for Other Discount” option during the registration process.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
- Refunds: Cancellation requests received by August 28, 2025, will be eligible for a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. After this date, no refunds will be processed.
Who Can Attend
The Conference on Bacteriophages: Biology, Dynamics, and Therapeutics is designed for researchers and clinicians to advance bacteriophage science and its therapeutic applications. This conference welcomes:
Researchers in bacteriophage biology, phage therapy, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), as well as clinical investigators exploring phage therapy for AMR infections. It also includes scientists and industry professionals focused on drug development for AMR and bacteriophage therapeutics, as well as individuals involved in global policy and strategy to combat antimicrobial resistance.
With a focus on cutting-edge research, this conference fosters collaboration among interdisciplinary experts, driving the next wave of innovation in bacteriophage science.

New Investigator Scholarships
Presenting Authors who are new investigators may qualify for a scholarship. New Investigators are postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, and new faculty (of 1 year or less). Scholarships cover the cost of the conference registration fee. Other expenses related to the conference (lodging, transportation, meals, etc.) are not covered.
Please Note:
- Scholarships are limited in number
- Scholarship recipients must be the presenting author on an abstract accepted for presentation (oral or poster presentation)
- Priority is given to abstracts that received a higher rating as determined by a team of peer reviewers
- Each lab may have up to 2 scholarships awards
- Mentor letters should verify the scholarship applicant’s current position (eg, postdoctoral fellow, graduate student, undergraduate student, or new faculty)

Conference on Bacteriophages is designed as an in-person conference with ample opportunities for networking, establishing collaborations, and other benefits of attending an in-person conference. For those who cannot attend in person, a virtual registration option is available. It includes access to live presentations, viewing posters, and access to on-demand session recordings.
