11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PTIAS–USA Dialogues are timely conversations on the public health, scientific, and clinical aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and other urgent viral outbreaks. Registration is now open for our October event!
Program Description
IAS–USA Dialogues (formerly COVID-19 Dialogues) were created to address an urgent need for reliable scientific information, with understanding of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 disease changing almost daily. In response, the IAS−USA created a program that brought together leading experts to discuss the latest data and research regarding COVID-19. Although the Dialogues continue to cover the latest in COVID-19 developments, IAS–USA Dialogues have also expanded to include the latest emerging and reemerging urgent viral outbreaks, including mpox, polio, and flu. The Dialogue series is intended for healthcare clinicians and researchers, including infectious disease and HIV specialists.
Experts discuss current seasonal issues and answer audience questions. The conversations are available on-demand after broadcast on the IAS−USA website, with the warning that the shelf life of information on COVID-19 and other urgent viral outbreaks is often quickly outdated as scientific knowledge evolves. What we know today may well be different from what we know tomorrow. Note: CME credit is not available for IAS–USA Dialogues.
